“Every Breath You Take” Playlist – Track No. 6

Track #6 from the “Every Breath You Take” playlist is “Sunrise” by Simply Red.

First, any song that samples “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” by Hall & Oates can’t go wrong. Second, I love Simply Red – “Holding Back The Years” is one of my all-time favorite songs. Third, the pleading refrain of the jilted (or perhaps never realized) lover of this song that they could and should be the one, fits perfectly with the central storyline of “Every Breath You Take.”

And it’s an unnerving video.
